Very nice. I always like the way Mr. Amdur articulates his thoughts about aikido and the martial arts.

Thanks for posting that, Paul.

I really like Ellis's description of aikido as a hobby. That is how I view my practice. It's a hobby that I take very seriously and am very dedicated to, but other things in life can and should take precidence over aikido from time to time. A healthy sense of perspective can go a long way.

The last part about aikido offering a "clean line" through life is very interesting.
