Roy Dean Academy

All,

Just to let you know, my website just went live!

www.roydeanacademy.com

Videos will be added soon, and I'm looking to cover some of the overlap I've found between Aikido and BJJ.

Good training to you,

Roy Dean

Re: Roy Dean Academy

Nice site. Not too hyped up, informative, looks like a place I wouldn't mind training. I like the varied background you present as well.

Good Luck!

Ron

Re: Roy Dean Academy

Thanks Ron!

I hope you come and visit sometime, I could take your ground skills to the next level!

I also put up an interesting photo of Yasuhiro Irie demonstrating a classic aiki technique in my blog. Check it out when you have a chance. For classical jujutsu/aikijujutsu, there is no finer practitioner in the world...

Best,

Roy Dean

Re: Roy Dean Academy

Congratulations, Roy! It's entirely possible I may make it up that way some day and if I do I'll be sure to come visit.

Re: Roy Dean Academy

Brad,

I've been in town just over a month. My first full week of classes starts today! Come by anytime, I look forward to meeting you.

Budd,

Thank you! I hope you can make it out to these parts. Very pretty town, you won't be disappointed with the scenery or friendliness of the locals. It's an outdoorsmans paradise: skiing in the winter; golf or hiking in the summer. Plus, you can train at High Desert Aikido, then still make it over to my class afterwards! Aikido plus BJJ- it doesn't get much better than that!

Roy
