In the Keys, there's not much. I think there used to be Aikido on Big Pine Key (25 mi. from Key West) but I don't know if they are still there. You might try a Google search for "aikido" and "Big Pine" to see if anything turns up. There are a couple of MA schools in Key West, but don't think anybody is teaching Aikido there. Not much else until you get to Miami.
As for Alabama, I know there used to be a guy at Fort Rucker (an army doctor, I think), but that was years ago, and he's probably long gone. There are clubs at UA and AU, both too far away, I would think. So is Montgomery and the FL panhandle. Only significant city close to you is Dothan, and I think you are out of luck there. Bummer. Maybe organize your own club at the base.
