Smile Greetings from Sacramento, CA

I came across this site recently and thought it's amazing! I am currently studying aikido and tai chi and love them both. Just want to say "Hi" and thanks for creating and running such a comprehensive site!

Re: Greetings from Sacramento, CA

Hi Phan!!

I just started learning Aikido!

How is Sacramento? I moved from Roseville about two years ago and now live in Boise. I am going back to the Bay area in November for a business trip and was scouting out some dojo's to go visit while I was there. Where do you practice?

Re: Greetings from Sacramento, CA

Hello Trish!

Nice to meet you! I started aikido not too long ago either, still a very beginner. Since you have lived in Roseville before, you probably know how Sacramento is--the hot summer wheather, chilly winter, high pollen count, air and water quality not too good, which all makes it more important to practice aikido regularly to stay in good health! Hehe But other than that, Sacramento is a great place and has a number of good dojos and the opportunity to run into Arnold at the Capitol. I train at the Aikido of Sacramento and enjoy every single practice for the last 3 years or so. The dojo's dynamics and its philosophy are what attracted me to it and kept me from moving out of this city. If you are in town, you are welcome to drop by and visit and train with us! Here is the dojo's website for direction: http://www.aikido-of-sacramento.com/.
