the water does not try
to reflect the moon
and the moon has no desire
to be reflected
but when the clouds clear
there is the moon in the water

Earthquake 10: Songs (+ fonts) for Japan
The Chrysanthemum by arnoKath for Font Aid V: Made for Japan charity typeface project, also to help Japan, is used with very kind permission

Here is another great way to help the victims of the earthquake. You can get Songs for Japan for $9.99. All the money goes to the Japanese Red Cross. 38 tracks by Bon Jovi, Dylan, Eminem, Pink, Sade, Springsteen, Sting… Yoko Ono donated Imagine by John Lennon. I have always liked Yoko Ono since a friend of mine told me about writing to her when he was a boy. It was just to say he was so sorry about John's death. Yoko Ono wrote back personally. So check out her site for the details or just go to itunes. And here are more background links.

Although the earthquake, and the attendant tsunamis brought tides of destruction and chaos, the following seas of compassion, sympathy and constructive caring are just the tonic to quell the ills produced. Thank you Niall, for continuing your ongoing tides of empathy, education and energy in keeping the faith, and the all important help movement alive.

Thanks Niall for sharing this great illustration and all the interesting articles. The article about how people are living in the evacuation centre is an example of how human beeings adapt to the situation, it is sad but encouraging too. And the songs are beautiful, I like Imagine a lot, there was a video I think a few weeks ago in facebook with the song. Congrats for almost 600 comments and 70.000 visits http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/l...ei/seventy.jpg
