Hey All,

Well Wednesday lesson and what a lesson..
I arrived at the Dojo at 18:15pm and climbed the three flights of stairs and as usual saw the Aikido Dojo sigh turned the corner and was met by a very odd looking gentleman who informed me that the door was locked and we had to wait.
Rene arrived and spared me the horrors of having to try and start a conversation with him, which I knew he also did not want to either.
knuckles arrived and opened the Dojo where we all spilled inside and got changed.
One new guy arrived so we ended up with two new guys and one other guy from another dojo.
We started the warm up as usual with knuckles trying to kill us doing mad Kung Fu squats and then rolls followed by some falls which was followed by rolls and falls!

The new guy did not seem to have any physical fitness at all and found tat the warm up very hard.
Then we started with ikkyo.I did this with the other new guy who was a little weird and moved in all the wrong ways, yet it made me realise that I have come quite far and this must be how the black belts feel when training with me! yet i have more patients...
Watching the new guy pull faces like a mad cow and stiffly try and do techniques was fun and scary at the same time.
I ended up paired with him for the second time where we did Ikkyo with a turn and every single time he kneed me in the side of the chest. I was kind of afraid to ask him not to as his face pulling and gurning had reached boiling point and his bottom teeth where showing by now and his eyes seemed to be bulging.

We moved on to nikajo, which was fun and i heard some one scream, was the weird and scary new guy who kept walking off the mat and taking a time out from all the strenuosity of it all.
I was paired with "Conan" for this one who is going for his black belt soon and is a very good Aikidoka and i think will make an excellent Black belt as he is not arrogant at all and is always egger to help and show.

We stopped and did some weapons work.
the 21 steps of the jo Kata which was a refreshing change and also fun and confusing at the same time.

as usual the lesson ended with "Conan" being attacked by 3 people yet this time he nearly broke someone's arm which was fun. thus Rene and i nicknamed him "Conan" the destroyer!

in all a very weird and fun and self observing lesson.

Thuraly enjoyable.
