In General Hotel Incident Entry Tools Rate This Entry
  #1 New 11-08-2005 06:23 AM
The Nov 4, 2005 Anniversary Program is over. A last minute unavoidable incident happened when all the ladies were sent home apparently because mingling of male and female were not allowed in functions such as this one. The program was supposed to be a family affair in conjunction with the Eid holiday celebration attuned to building and strengthening family ties which coincidentally fell in line with the club's first year anniversary. The Egyptian General Manager Mr. Sami Abouezz of the Dhahran International Hotel was very rude and treated us in a very unprofessional manner. The entire program proper was disturbed as a result of the non-entry of all female students. Spirits were deadened and the entire celebration was not a complete success. A formal complaint will be filed as a result of this antagonistic approach towards proper customer care and inflexibility that brought complete chaos to the day's event.

However cold and beaten they thought - the show must go on, in other words and so it did. With us to grace the occasion were Ibrahim Al Hawaj Shihan who once again demonstrated his expertise in IAIDO and Raul Makabenta sensei who showed us some shoulder locking moves.

And as they say the rest is history…
