On April 28, 2004, the Aikido Center of Los Angeles and its members, under the direction of Rev. Kensho Furuya, will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the establishment of the Dojo. The Aikido Center of Los Angeles opened its doors in 1974 in Silverlake and moved to its present location in Little Tokyo, downtown Los Angeles in 1984.
