Pop Ups!?

When I just entered this site there was a Pop Up advertisement about me being the 15000 visitor bla bla.. and therefore winner of a trip bla bla..

Is this something new to the site?

As I wrote to you in private e-mail, I do not have any advertisements on this site whatsoever. The last thing I would want to have here would be those darned annoying pop-ups!

You may have some kind of third party "ad-ware" on your computer. Try using "Ad-Aware" here (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/) to scan your computer for such.

Thank you for your quick reply! I'm not a winner then? :D Strangly this has never happened before but when my girlfriend to checked it out on our home laptop the same thing happened but with another pop-up! As I said it has never happened before (thank god!) that's why I was taken by surprise...

Some of the things which install this kind of thing are Gator, Bonzi Buddy, a "pro" DiVX package, Kazaa, Morpheus...

Ad-aware is definitely the way to go.
