It's one of this best videos yet.

Lenny's one of the few people actively building on modernization base of Tenshin Aikido in order to evolve the system, and of course usually he meets violent resistance from mediocre minds.

Interesting. I've found being able to do tenkan at speed against fast attacks to be extremely challenging.

Having to find the technique in your head might be an issue. Responses to attacks can come from the energy in the moment. Having preconceived ideas is a distraction from what can happen. I like his ideas about uke not knowing what nage is going to do. Nage can be open to not knowing either and then the response will arise naturally from the conflict.

Another attempt to transform Aikido into a wrestling-system.
I think its a waste of time, somebody who is skilled in this way of fighting will end it quickly, because there are more suitable techniques for this purpose.

I don't think it is a waste of time. It is just a different way. Doesn't make it wrong.

I don't think it is wrong, but for this kind of fighting there exist better solutions.
Aikido is not made for standing faco to each other in wrestling pose and trying to do a wrist twist, the mind is not free, it is fixed on an object.
"Trying to make it work", hm, I have my doubts that this is the right way.

I think Aikido is the study of intent, not standing in front of somebody, having lots of openings an try to use force on him, this cannot be the "way".
Instead of mimicing a wrestler its better to learn wrestling, instead of mimicing a boxer its better to learn boxing.

Well the good thing about the video is that you can see that certain techniques are in fact good solutions for certain situation and finally one can see that kotegaeshi isn't a "takedown" technique.
