Hi:
Been looking for the IWAMA official web site to no avail. Can anyone assist.
One other thing is the IWAMA syllabus similar to the Aikikai Hombu Dojo?
Thanks

The reason you couldn't find it is obviously because it doesn't exist. As for their syllabus, I'm not the qualified person to answer but I believe it is quite different, judging from my few trainings at Iwama-ryu dojos.
Why don't you check out Aikiportal on: http://www.aikiportal.dk/index.html
They have a link to the official european Iwamaryu page and perhaps from there you can find the info you need.

There is no official Iwama ("IWAMA" would be incorrect, it's not an acronym) web site.
The best you can do is look to the sites of the various Iwama organizations: Iwama Ryu Europe, Iwama Ryu Italy, Takemusu Aikido Association, Division 1 of California Aikido Association.
There is also an Iwama forum now on http://www.aikidojournal.com/ . I highly recommend that you browse it.

The best presentation you're going to get is the Traditional Aikido and Takemusu Aikido series by the late Morihiro Saito Shihan.
I'm also very, very fond of the CD-ROMs by Mike McVey Sensei of Yellow Springs Aikido. See http://www.ysaohio.com/ .
