Finding a dojo - the modern way

Hi all

I recenty discovered that it is possible to build your own POI-files (Point Of Interest) for the GPS. I even found an online editor that worked pretty well.

I have created such POI files for all Aikikai-affiliated aikido dojos in Denmark (not that many) and placed them on my dojo-webpage (www.vestfynaikikai.dk). If you wan't to see them feel free to download them. The page is primarily in Danish but you can probably find the files with a little effort in the area of deduction :)

The TomTom edition works fine on my GPS - the other files I haven't tested, and I have NO idea how many times they have been downloaded (probably none)...

Maybe Aikiweb could be expanded with this possibility - or maybe some sort of connection to google earth or the like.. could be fun to see a graphical expresion of the places where you can practice Aikido... but I digress... Just thought you wanted to hear about my idea.
