Andre Nocquet sensei, 8th dan aikikai. Born on July 30th, 1914. Started practicing judo and jujutsu while still a teenager. Studied in Tokyo at the Aikikai Hombu dojo from 1955 until 1957. Returned to France in the summer of 1958. Passed away in March, 1999.
