Pros: Great Value, Excellent Content
Cons: small production glitches

I thoroughly enjoyed this DVD and expect to watch it again, and again. While I wasn't previously familiar with Murashige Sensei, the segments for each of the other guest Senseis (Ikeda, Doarn, and Tissier Senseies) seemed to be spot on as representative of that Sensei's Aikido. If you want to get a very nice overview of widely differing approaches to the art, get this video. I was really sorry that I hadn't been at the Bridge Seminar in person after I watched the video. Maybe next year.

I loved the segments from the local area guest instructors:
Frank McGouirk Sensei, Haruo Matsuoka Sensei, Dang Thong Phong Sensei, Lia Suzuki Sensei, and Francis Takahashi Shihan. Once again a range of approach which shows Aikido as an "alive" art which is still growing and evolving.

I would have loved more... next time perhaps a 2 DVD set?

It was the first year for the seminar and there was clearly a bit of working out the technical glitches. It was quite apparent that they had started shooting on the first day with a disadvantageous camera angle because it changed part way through each teacher's segment. The higher angle was far better.

The wireless mic kicked out in a few places and I would have liked better sound mixing with louder voice and less ambient (when I listen with my head phones the mat slapping is annoyingly loud when I turn up the volume enough to hear the Sensei's commentary).

But these small technical concerns are far outweighed by the content, which is excellent, and the cost, which is below market, in my opinion.

In short I would highly recommend this DVD for your collection.
