Patricia GUERRI who has spent 3 years as uchi-deshi of Saito Sensei presents emtpy handed technique from his school : Aikibukikai.
As we can see all techniques are the one from Saito sensei. In this dvd you can see basic techniques as ikkyo, nikkyo, sankyo & yonkio needed for grading test as well as several iriminage, shihonage, kokyunage and kotegaeshi.
Apart from these techniques, ken suburi ad jo kata are presented. All movements are clear and fine, praticed in kihon waza.
At the start of the dvd, you can see the mokuroku scroll given by Saito Sensei, I think it\'s the first time that everyone can see the content of these scrolls. Very interesting for all iwama guy who have hear from this for several years.
Moreover as part of the bonus section, we get a translation of some Saito sensei private letters talking about Guerri Sensei\'s pratice and iwama ryu group.
During the technical part, very few explanations are given about the mouvement itself. This dvd is more a presentation of what is done at Aikibukikai or what Saito Sensei teached to Patricia Guerri and what you can expect if you go to his dojo. Some of the techniques are done by guerri\'s students.
In my opinion this product can be used as technical reference and reminder for every iwama student as well as introduction to this style for other people.
A second dvd will come for next grades.
