Pros: Durable, Quality material, Strong stiching, Looks good!
Cons: Bigger than expected

I ordered this twill hakama off of Bu Jin\'s clearence rack and I am pleased with it overall.

One hard lesson I\'ve had to learn about Bu Jin is to NOT guess with the sizes. At all. If they tell you something is X inches long, count on it and count on it NOT SHRINKING!

I have ordered Gi\'s and accessories from other companies and everything always seemed to shrink. I came to count on it and would order accordingly. Now, I have a Gi and a Hakama from Bu Jin that are both too large for me... but I use them and do not begrudge them in the least. Judging from the usage, I anticipate having both of these items for many years to come. They will not ware out, but then again, they will not shrink either.

SO... order your size. Double check your size. If you can find someone with a Bu Jin product, see if they will let you try it on so you can see the size for yourself. But you won\'t be disappointed in their products... good stuff!

Pros: Bu Jin Hakama are fantastic
Cons: None

I own 3 bujin hakamas. 5oz blue, 8oz black and 10oz cotton blue. All have extended front pannels all fit perfect. Just follow there instructions as the cotton does shrink as explained on the site. I ordered all mine over the phone and it was good to see that the people taking the call know all about the products. I will not by a hakama anywhere else.

I think that they can be a little pricey but the exchange rate helps, but you know where the money goes. Quality!

Pros: Very tough, uncrinkleable material!
Cons: A bit small

I love this hakama, I have a Cotton from Tozando, Polyester from Tozando, rayon from Tozando and this one from Bujin, and, this is by FAR my favourite! However, I was advised to go for the medium which I did and it turned out to be a bit small so the outer pleats are just a bit off perfect, but still fantastic and highly reccomended!

Bu Jin Design although totally awesome are no longer available. The owner has decided to retire. If you are still looking for great hakama, you can try Nine Circles UK and Nine Circles USA depending on where you live.
