Pros: strong material, clean, built to last
Cons: Proper sizing is VERY important!

When ordering from Bu Jin: SIZE MATTERS. They use a pre-shrunk cotten material that is truly Pre-Shrunk. Having bought Gi on-line in the past, I always ordered a size larger than I needed to handle shrinking. Do NOT do this with Bu Jin!

Pants don\'t shrink.
Gi don\'t shrink.
In fact, I\'ll bet the only thing they sell that MIGHT shrink is their 100% Premier Cotton Hakama.

So, when you order, I recommend talking to someone in person, have your measurements precise, measure twice, and if you can... try on the item via someone that already owns one: hakama or gi top or whatever. Then you\'ll know for sure and can further talk to them about the sizes.

I have a Gi top that is too big. I wear it anyway, but it is huge. Good luck... experience helps!

Pros: The fit is exactly as the site says it is and the lining is very comfortable
Cons: If you sweat, you will leave shiny patches on the mats

I sweat a LOT, and for people who sweat excessively, I wouldn\'t recommend the 8.5oz jacket. By the end of two classes my back was saturated. Every fall left an unsightly shiny patch on the mats.

The plus side is that the jacket is quite comfortable and the lining is very soft. The fit is dead on, so trust the measurements on the website. It didn\'t shrink a bit during the wash.

To sum it up, if you sweat a lot, look for a jacket that can take it. But you won\'t find anything else as comfortable out there.

Cons: size runs small

excellent product but if on the border of large or extra large definitely go extra large. See my review under Dogi pants
