Description:

Building the Tanren Stand and the application of the basic practice of Tanren-Uchi for the Dojo or Home
During O'Sensei's lifelong pursuit of the Way of Aiki, he both used and developed many training methods. One method O'Sensei utilized extensively during his period of austere training was Tanren-Uchi (the forging of the spirit through repetitious striking). Part one of this new video features step-by-step instruction on how to construct a heavy-duty Tanren stand with only basic tools and a little desire. Part two demonstrates the basic use and foundation of Tanren training. Develop your grip, forearms, and lower back muscles while forging your Aiki-Spirit.
