An excellent book for anyone who has been training for under a year, best if you've been training less than 6 months. It is quite limited in the 'number' of techniques but Yamada sensei is undoubtedly one of the best Aikidoka in the world (I would say best, but that would be unfair on the many Shihan I've not trained with) and this comes through with his clear and precise explainations of the techniques. Also, nice clear photos. If you're a more advanced student, borrow a copy and read it, but you may be disappointed in that there will be nothing particularly new or exciting.
