Seminar/Event: Great Mongolian Adventure Tour
Posted 5/16/2001 3:44pm [from Matt Meeks]

"Continuing the Dream of Aikido Founder Morihei Ueshiba." Gaku Homma Sensei, founder of Aikido Nippon Kan, is making a trip to Mongolia in June, and would like to invite all Aikidoka to join him. It's a great opportunity to explore a culture and a part of the world that not many get to see. This is not a money making opportunity for Nippon Kan or Homma Sensei, but a genuine offer to share a rare cultural opportunity. We apologize for the short notice, but registration closes June 8th, so if you're interested at all, I suggest you check out the details as soon as possible. More information is available on the website at http://www.nippon-kan.org/mongolia2001.html.

AikiWeb News: New Article: Opening the Door
Posted 5/25/2001 9:06am [from Jun Akiyama]

I've just put up a new article entitled "Opening the Door" by Justin McCarthy which tells us of his perception into people's strengths and weaknesses -- and how it can be turned "inside out and upside down." It's a great read -- be sure to check it out!

AikiWeb News: New Books Database
Posted 5/29/2001 2:37pm [from Jun Akiyama]

I just revamped the Books Database to hopefully make it easier for folks to add new books to the database and also to add reviews and ratings for the books as well. Please let me know if there are any books missing from the database using the Add Books page! I'll hopefully be updating the Videos section shortly...
