Event: Aikido and Psychotherapy Seminar at ITP, Palo Alto, CA 11/7/2010
Posted 10/09/2010 11:23am [from Jun Akiyama]

There will be a seminar on aikido and psychotherapy at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in Palo Alto, CA on November 7th, 2010. From the web page: "Practice Aikido techniques that are focused on developing therapeutic presence, staying centered when challenged, and blending empathically with clients. A special low impact section will create an ideal introduction for non Aikidoists. Aikido is a mind-body-spirit practice that can be applied by psychotherapists both with clients and for self-care. Therapists have recognized the importance of being fully present in therapy."
