Event: Haruo Matsuoka in St. Louis, MO 3/18-3/20

St. Louis Aikikai is pleased to announce that Haruo Matsuoka, 5th Dan, will give a public friendship seminar in the St. Louis, Missouri on March 18th through the 20th. Matsuoka Sensei is Chief Instructor of Ikazuchi Dojo in Irvine, California. He currently trains under Master Seiseki Abe Sensei (10th Dan), one of the closest and highest ranking disciples of O-Sensei, the founder of Aikido. For more than twenty years, Matsuoka Sensei was one of the highest-ranking disciples of Master Steven Seagal (7th Dan) and served as Chief Instructor of his Los Angeles-based Tenshin Dojo from 1989 until 1997 whereupon he returned to Japan. He returned to Southern California in 1999 and currently serves as Chief Instructor of Ikazuchi Dojo, Chief Instructor of the UCI Aikido program, and Chief Instructor of his Doshinokai organization in Los Angeles. Matsuoka Sensei also leads Aikido seminars around the world. Aikidoka of all skill levels and any affiliation are welcome.
