Event: Bond Street Dojo 40th Anniversary Seminar May 30 - June 2
Posted 4/26/2013 10:47am [from Bond Street Dojo]

The Bond Street Dojo, founded in 1973 by Terry Dobson and Ken Nisson, will be celebrating its 40th anniversary in just a few weeks with a special seminar. The seminar officially runs from Thursday May 30 to Sunday June 2 (the weekend after Memorial Day). Mitsugi Saotome shihan (8th dan) and Hiroshi Ikeda shihan (7th dan) are headlining, and co-founder Ken Nisson sensei (6th dan) and chief instructor Chris Jordan sensei (6th dan) will also be teaching. The seminar will be taking place at the 3LD (3-Legged Dog) Art & Technology Center in Tribeca (downtown Manhattan) where we expect to have a large mat space. There will be a party Saturday night, and we are planning some special in-dojo classes and events during the week or so leading up to the seminar. All affiliations and ranks are welcome to the seminar and these events. Here's a link to our website with more information, including details on the schedule, registration and housing. There is a flyer as well; please post it in your dojo, if you have the opportunity: http://bondstreet.org/40th/ Our Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/432908793430338/ You can email aikido@bondstreet.org with questions. Please pass the word along. We hope to see you soon!
