Event: International Aiki Peace Week: 9/20-9/26/2010

As you may know, September 21 is the United Nations International Day of Peace. Every year, hundreds of organizations and citizen groups worldwide honour that day with thousands of Peace Day events. In support of this Aiki Extensions is organising International Aiki Peace Week. So far we have 60 dojos signed up from across 17 countries across the world Please join hands and extend this chain. All you have to do is sign up on www.aikipeaceweek.org, and commit to teaching peace-focused Aikido classes during the week of Sept 20-26. Dojos will be encouraged, but not required, to offer a class for the general public that teaches Aiki principles as a way of managing conflict and preventing violence.
