Here is an article
written by Bruce Bookman sensei which is a reply to Stanley Pranin's
"Virtues of Aikido"
article. In his response, Bookman sensei relates his thoughts on the traditional attacks in aikido, cross-training, leading a healthy lifestyle, and ukemi. Very much worth a read.
