Forty Dojos in Indonesia affiliate with Hiroshi Kato, 8th dan

The Aikido organization in Indonesia called the Institute Aikido Indonesia has requested affiliation with and been received under Shihan Hiroshi Kato's leadership and the Suginami Aikikai in Tokyo Japan. Their website states that "the Aikido Institute of Indonesia has around 40 dojos with total number of students at around 600 persons spread in Jakarta, Bandung, Sukabumi, Malang, Kalimantan and Aceh.
Kato Shihan also supports dojos in California, Texas and Mexico. He frequently travels to South America to do seminars and is receiving invitations from around the world.
