Aikido Kenkyukai in the heart of Sydney, Australia
Posted 10/05/2006 9:28am [from Berin Mackenzie]
We would like to extend a very warm welcome to the opening of a new Aikido school in the centre of Sydney. The new dojo is conveniently located inside the City of Sydney PCYC (51 Cathedral St, Woolloomooloo - corner of Riley St), just a short stroll from St James Station, Hyde Park and the Domain. Classes will be led by Berin Mackenzie, an Australian instructor who lived and studied intensively in Japan under the great Takeda Yoshinobu Shihan, an 8th dan Aikido master. Hence, Sydney´s residents will soon have the opportunity to study this incredibly beautiful, dynamic and powerful, yet overwhelmingly soft and effortless style of Aikido with an experienced and passionate instructor just moments from the CBD. The opening ceremony will take place on Tuesday, 10 October 2006 from 18:00-19:30 and will include a free introductory class. For further details, visit www.aikidosydneycity.com
