Giorgio Veneri Sensei Passes Away

Giorgio Veneri sensei of Italy has passed away. He started aikido in 1964 and started training with Hiroshi Tada sensei in 1965, becoming one of the founding members of Aikikai d'Italia in 1968. Veneri sensei also served as the chairman of the International Aikido Federation from 1984 through 1994. There are obituaries on Veneri sensei on the IAF website and the IPAAN website. My condolences go out to his family, friends, and loved ones.
