Butch Chernofsky Sensei Passes Away

Butch Chernofsky Sensei of the New York Aikikai has passed away. According to the New York Aikikai website, "Yamada Sensei and the Board of Directors of the New York Aikikai are saddened to inform that our long-time friend and board member, Butch Chernofsky was found dead in his apartment. Memorial services will be held at the Riverside Memorial Chapel (Amsterdam Avenue between 75th and 76th streets) this Sunday June 12th at 9:45 AM." My condolences go out to his family, friends, and loved ones.
