No, that's great, coz I wasn't self conscious or anything to start with. Way to go living aikido and getting along with people, man. That was a very assholish thing to say to someone you don't even know.

Id like to add a comment
Dan,
Take heart in the fact that you are on the path
You know very well that people who are insecure about themselves will often look for, and lash out at, imperfections they perceive in others, whether they exist or not. It makes them feel good about themselves, and as in this case, may get a cheap laugh or two from others just as insecure.
Stay strong and be yourself

Yeah, fair point :-\ On the path, yes, but stuck on the path for three months due to illness. I was rated on another site as "Mystery gender" coz of my long hair earlier that day, so I wasn't really in the mood to be insulted. Think I should edit the post to remove my lashing out. Thanks Ima

How long did it take you to grow it in like that? It's very samurai-ish...minus the bald head above the ponytail..

What is it with people insulting me :-p There's no bald patch, I just have mixed colour hair. It took me probably about a year and a bit to grow it that long. I shaved it in the summer with a razor, and growing it again now. Can't wait for it to be long again. I've quit aikido and aikijutsu so I won't be mocked for being a girl anymore And won't have it pulled on in aikido to take me down *grins* Forgot the name of the move, but you end up behind the person and pull his shoulders back to put him down. Sensei just yanked on my hair one night
