I have only heard of this; I've never seen even a photo before. Now in my mind there are two most important statues in the world: this and Abraham Lincoln in his memorial. I find these far more important to me than Brasil's Jesus or the Thai, etc. Buddhas.
Lincoln's left hand forms the sign language "A," and his right forms "L." Are there any quasi-hidden markings on O'Sensei's statue?
I feel humility from this, and my foresight tells me someday I'll feel invigoration as well.
