Beautiful bonsai Ron. Is this an example of your bonsai care? Nice photographic effects also.

Hi Chuck,
Just getting started in keeping them alive...my first one was a Juniper that I killed...I felt really bad about that one. This one I've had since October. Doing a little better...but Serrisa are kinda fussy. Now I need to incorporate more of my zazen and kokyu work when tending it. I'd like to use the softwood on the bottom for a new bonsai...researching softwood cuttings and getting them to root. Maybe mid spring it will be ready...then I'll get to bring it up from scratch, so to speak. I'll let you know how it goes...
Best, and thanks,
Ron

Nice trimming work, Ron. Are they somewhat expensive?

Only if you keep killing them, like I do Dancing lady is no more, much to my chagrin. When I get my job situation settled again, I may get another Serissa. As picky as they are, they are nice, and I kept that one the longest of any of my attempts.
[warning: leaving them over exposed to sun by mistake will be fatal]

She may have withered, but you'll always have this great photo. I've never seen a bonsai like this one. It's probably the only type of tree that is too small for a tree frog. Thanks for sharing.
