Nice picture. I don't understand why most of the instructors don't have any uniform on? For such a great event, it looks very unprofessional not to have the uniform on.

Excellent question. The reason is that the event was more of a workshop. The instructors presented over the two days for about 45 minutes each, and it was not all about aikido techniques. Most of the presentations were discussions rather than physically participatory classes.
We weren't actually "training" in the way that we normally train in aikido classes or seminars. We were talking about and sharing our views and insights into teaching children.
