The NJIT Aikido Club is hosting a 3 day seminar with Meik Skoss, who will be teaching Nippon Toho, an exploration of fundamentals of Japanese swordsmanship. Skoss Sensei's system of Nippon Toho uses the Kendo Kata as a basic framework, while incorporating fundamentals of sword handling drawn from his study of aiki-ken and several systems of koyru sword arts.
Meik Skoss has trained in martial arts for well over 30 years, most of them spent in Japan. For a more detailed summary of his background, visit:

Training will run from 9-5 on Saturday and Sunday, with a two hour break for lunch at midday. Individuals registered for Saturday and Sunday are also welcome to join us on Friday evening from 7-9 for a basics class that is primarily intended for NJIT students.
Space is limited, so preference will be given to individuals registering for the entire weekend; the deadline for pre-registration is April 1.
For more information, send an e-mail to: aikido (at) njit.edu and we will send you a flyer and registration form by reply mail.
