New Shodans in IRAQ.
Hello every Aikidoka..
I'm pleased to report there three members of I.A.O (Iraqi Aikido Organization) got Shodan Aikikai. They got it after long time of waiting and hard work.
The exam was in Aikido seminar in AMMAN 9-11 Feb with (Martufi Franco) sensei 5th Dan Aikikai.
Those members is..
1. Saad D. Salman, started aikido at 1995.
2. Bashar K. Ahmed, started aikido at 1997.
3. Essam M. Rahim, started aikido at 1999.
So we have to say them congratulations.

Congratulations, as a US serviceman who spent a some time in your country, I can appreciate and respect the sacrifice that you have made in even being able to train. I especially look forward to returning to a prosperous Iraq, where I am sure we will train together. Imshala.
