Lightbulb I was thinking of buying a Tessen

I was thinking of buying a metal Samurai fan. And i found one which looks good quality and very attractive

Sexy Fan

Has anyone got one? or does anyone think i should/shouldn't but it?

It is also very kool because i go to Phoenix dojo

The pen is mightier than the sword.
But a sword
Dipped in ink,
Now,
That's a good compromise.

I think it looks pretty neat. If you want it, get it! Indulge yourself. It's not as bad as a drug habit.

Re: I was thinking of buying a Tessen

Yikes 54 dollars, well I guess 39 now I look at it... I have a fan like this with a dragon on it... wouldn't think of it as a "fighting fan" by any means... And I think I paid maybe 30 dollars CANADIAN, taxes said and done..no shipping... But if it tickles your fancy then go for it. If you want a "Fighting Fan" I'd go for Bugei... just my 2 pennies.

Some Tessen didn't open they were actually just forged in the shape of a fan.

Kind Regards,

Haven't looked at the e-Bay item, but you can get authentic tessen from Peter Boylan at www.budogu.com.
