Talking Hi from Puerto Rico

Hi all.

I practice in a AAA dojo in sunny mayaguez, Puerto Rico.

There are not many dojo in Puerto Rico, so this site helps me feel connected to other fellow aikidoka around the world.

Re: Hi from Puerto Rico

Yo, Alexis! Welcome! I'm was born in Fajardo! I haven't been to Puerto Rico in almost 12 years...which sucks because all my relatives are still there with the exception of some of my uncles that are moving up here to Buffalo, lol. It's good to see another Rican here, you know?

Re: Hi from Puerto Rico

Un cariduro, wow!!!

Its good to hear from another Boricua so fast. I was born in San Juan, but i've been living in mayaguez for 8 years now. Practicing aikido for a year now.

Man, 12 years without coming back to the island?. That's a long time. Don't you miss the taste of pasteles, arroz con gandules or a nice bacalaito? I would!!! JA JA JA JA (laugh in spanish).

IWell, f you ever come to the island, pass by our dojo. Heres our page: www.shushinkan.org
See you in the forums.
