Testing for shodan

Hey peeps. I live in SW Michigan and train in Indiana at Onshinkan Dojo. I've just come knee surgery and am seriously training again preparing for my shodan exam hopefully in September. I feel really great mentally, need to build up strength in my knee and polidh off techniques. I've been training for 4 years now and love it. I only wish I started training years and years ago when I first walked by an Aikido dojo. Oh well, I try to make every seminar in the midwest and east coast regarless of affiliation. Being like a Ronin I get to look at all affiliations of Aikido. We all have one thing in common. The 4 Principles. C ya on da mat, Uke.

Hey Uke, feel the Koshinage...

Re: Testing for shodan

Hey Teddy,

Good to see you on the mat last weekend in NYC. We had the first practice in the new dojo space on Wednesday night. Great practice, lots of energy.

Hope to see you on the mat soon, and if not before, then during your shodan. I'll take some ukemi from you, and we'll send some lead downrange.
