Looking for gasshuku location in Poconos

Hello, my name is Steve Trinkle. I am from Aikido Kenkyukai in North Wales, PA.

I have a question and I am hoping that someone might have some suggestions for me. Our group (maybe 10 members) is planning a weekend intensive for 23 and 24 April. One of our member's folks have a home near Lake Wallenpaupack, PA where we could stay. We'd like to find some space up near there where we could train. We can bring our own mats if necessary. We don't need much, we're used to training without amenities. I have no idea what might be a good idea, so I'm just starting to ask around. I'm wondering about the possibility of other dojo in the area, fire halls, schools, etc. I figured I would start with the aikido community.

It's a shot in the dark, but if anyone has any thoughts please contact me, if you could. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you and best regards,

Steve Trinkle

I don't know anything about the area, but I do know in Alabama there is a wonderful dojo that is inside of a church. Perhaps churches in that area would also be willing to assist you.
