If Aikido somehow boomed in popularity and every single person began studying it, do you think

a) There would be no more bar fights

or

b) Bar fights would be really, really cool

I know this is extremely unlikely, but every time I imagine the second option I just have to laugh.

Probably a) because everyone would worry that if they did have a fight everyone in the area would stop and critise their technique.
Imagine everyone in the bar saying "Both feet flat on the floor" or "kaiten not tenkan" or "move more" or "watch your ukemi"

Perhaps bar fights would be the way to attract people to *your* dojo. The coolest bar fights get more students...after all, its all about marketting isn't it?
