What phrase in Japanese might be appropriate for "the assistant to the assistant"....assuming one even exists

Thanks,

Bronson

Re: assistant to the assistant?

Bronson...I asked my assistant and she couldn't think of anything. Maybe she doesn't know because I didn't give her an assistant????

What's the context? Is it like 2nd assistant to Mr. Diffin? as we see in movies?

cheers,

--Michael

I think what Bronson is talking about is what would you call a person who helps an assistant instructor, (kinda a gofer if you will).

Yeah, that's pretty much it.

Re: assistant to the assistant?

I asked one of my students this the other night and just got an email from her this morning.

She said:

"
assistant of assistant in Japanese:
assistant hosa (アシスタント 補佐) or joshu hosa (助手 補佐)
sounds totally "made up" but thats all I can think of...
"

I couldn't really tell you if that was appropriate or not, but maybe someone else will have a thought about it.

cheers,

--Michael
