Robert Koga Videos

Has anyone out there seen Robert Koga Sensei's "Practical Aikido" videos?
I was hoping to get some opinions as to whether or not they are worth the price.

No, but I'm thinking about going to his seminar on the same subject Saturday, January 15th in San Jose, CA:

I seem to recall favorable comment in a previous thread along these lines. Let us know what you come up with if you search the site.

Re: Robert Koga Videos

With this caveat - I am a great fan of Koga Sensei and the practical side of aikido for law enforcement agents, so keep that in mind. His Practical Aikido tapes are well done, clear and understandable, and well-paced. That said, Koga Sensei teaches some very specific techniques without much discussion of the principles of aikido. It ain't pretty, but it works. I think the tapes are worthwhile from that perspective. If you are looking for "pure" aikido, there are better tapes, but Koga Sensei's stuff is real meat and potatoes street-fighting material.
