Re: Hi
Is this the same Keith Badyna who Art Carney of the Philadelphia Inquirer uncovered as an Aikido Shihan fraud?
I certainly do not want to ruffle any feathers however I would do some research on your teacher. If you have been training there and are happy, please just ignore me.
Thanks,
Garrett

Garrett: E-Budo has had some threads on your statement. Type in Badyna in the search.

Re: Hi
I'm not interested in stirring the pot, but a little information is in order. This is the last post from one of the linked-to threads. The original poster owes it to himself to read the articles.

Re: Can I get your thoughts on my Dojo/Sense
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Greetings All,
PDFs of the two February 1997 Philadelphia Inquirer articles on Keith Badyna are available at:
http://www.aikido-nova.org/badyna1.pdf
http://www.aikido-nova.org/badyna2.pdf
http://www.aikido-nova.org/badyna3.pdf
The files are large, and it was necessary to split one of the articles in two.
Thanks again to journalist Art Carey of the Inquirer for making thes articles available!

Re: Hi
I thought I recalled the name-since I participated in the discussion some time back. Must be getting old-I couldn't remember if it was e-budo or the aiki-web (actually it was both). The website is the same so it appears nothing has changed.

Re: Hi
Welcome, Josh - a shout out to PA from Cali. I just started, too, and I also have a teeny, tiny background in Tae Kwon Do. I enjoyed it, but has to find my own "Aikido-esque" space in that art. I am glad to finally be able to take part in this art. However things work out for you, I hope that you, too, are enjoying yourself.
Have a great holiday season!
