Nakayama & Pitchford Sensei in Houston, TX , 01/2005

The Aikido International Foundation (AIF) is proud to announce a guest instructor seminar held at Shinjinkan Dojo in Spring, TX from Jan. 21st to 23rd. The training is open to students of any martial art or rank, and from any organization or dojo. Instruction will be provided by James Nakayama Sensei, Godan, and Ken Pitchford Sensei, Rokudan. The seminar will feature quality instruction in empty hand technique (throwing, pinning, and striking). The seminar will be based on the teaching methodology established by Fumio Toyoda, Shihan. A portion of the proceeds from this seminar will go toward the Toyoda Shihan Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship Fund. I am looking forward to this seminar. The last time I saw Nakiayama Sensei he took some time to work on silent breakfalls . The Iaido will be totally new to me so I think that will be exciting.
