Living in Japan?Hope you and your are OK

I wasn't sure where to post this, so please excuse me if this is an inappropriate post. I just heard that there was a large earthquake in Japan;something along the lines of a 7.1 centered around Hokkaido. They just had one in October in (I think) the northern part of Honshu. They've been through a lot. ANYWHO, when I read various posts, I see that some of you are in Japan or have loved ones there. I hope that everything is OK with you and yours.
Again, forgive me if this is an inappropriate post. My mother's side of the family live in Japan, and I, while they appear to be OK, I fret about others. It's a wonderful, fabulous country, but those tectonic plates can be a b-word.
Take care
