I'm new so please forgive any ignorances. The poll today "Should aikido incorporate competition? - 2/3/2001" is somewhat bias because it does not allow one to answer in the "If they want to" bracket. What i'm implying is that the Aikido other people study is not the Aikido that i study. In the same manner, the Aikido that anyone studies is no other persons. Therefore, i believe if someone felt that competitions were what they wanted/needed in thier Aikido, who am i to oppose?

The polls are meant to ask for your opinion. If you don't have an opinion of your own, then you don't have to answer the poll...
