Hi everyone,

I'm proud to present the newest section of AikiWeb: the AikiCards electronic greeting cards!

The site now has close to 50 images to choose from including 10 pictures of Morihei Ueshiba sensei from the Walther G. von Krenner Collection and 9 from North Bay Aikido, 5 pictures of Kisshomaru Ueshiba sensei from the von Krenner collection, 14 pieces of calligraphy from Eri Takase, and 5 humorous cartoons from Fudebakudo.

The URL to the AikiCards is:
http://www.aikiweb.com/aikicards/
Please let me know at akiy@aikiweb.com if anyone encounters any glitches, oddities, or other bugs...

Enjoy!

Jun,

I checked out the Aikicards section and everything worked fine for me. It looks really nice; finally a way to send an Aikido related e-mail card. I was getting tired of sending the cards on the Blue Mountain Arts website. All those cutesy cartoons just didn't fit my personality.

Thanks for the new and welcome addition.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for all of your kind words -- I appreciate them all!

I'm hoping to have more AikiCards available by collaborating with folks (since my artistic talent is pretty close to nil). If any of you out there have images and such that you feel would be good for the AikiCards, please let me know and I'll be happy to take a look at your work. (Although, be warned that I tend to be pretty picky about such things!)

Please do let me know if anyone finds anything odd with the system. I've had it betatested by some good folks, of course, but want to be sure everything is working well!

Thanks again,

-- Jun
