looking for dojo..

I used the dojo search but it did not find any dojo's in the Oroville California area. Does anyone know of a dojo in Oroville or chico part of california. I am about 50 or so miles north of sacramento ca. Or someone that teaches on the side and such?

Thanks
RIch

Re: looking for dojo..

Hi Richard,

I'm not familiar with any schools in the Chico or Oroville area. There is a school in Redding, but that's most likely too far for you. We're in Sacramento County in Orangevale, which borders Roseville. Not sure how far that is from you. You're welcome to come pay us a visit if you'd like. Details can be found at http://www.seikeikan.com. I believe there is a school in the Grass Valley / Nevada City area as well.

Unfortunately, I do not have any information on the Redding dojo other than the instructors e-mail address. If you would like it, send me a private note with your name, phone and e-mail and I will forward it. I think one of Ii Sensei's students may be lurking here as well. Peter ?!?

That would be http://www.usafwr.org/grassvalley/
I watched Cecilia's fukushidoin test back in 1997 and it remains in my memory as the most graceful randori I ever saw.
