Apindages (hands and feet)

I have long hands (9.5 inches from pinky to thumb when spread out) and small feet (10 inches long and about 4 inches wide)...my question is, is it easier, before you developed your own little nuances and styles etc. did you find that hand and foot size played much of a roll in your techniques? I realize it's not like you can try on different hands or feet for size, but this just kind of popped into my head :]

I think having big hands will make things a little easier for certain pins. I sometimes found it difficult when I first started out doing technique against people with large limbs because my hands would not fit around them well.

In the long run it wont make much difference, and foot size doesn't change much in my opinion, as long as you know how to balance on them

The only time the size of hands and feet make a difference is when you think about them too much they tend not to work as well as you would like them to?

The trick to what ever size your appendages, refering to hands and feet, is that they are in the right place at the right time doing the right thing. When can use your hands without grabbing, you will understand, When you can be in the correct place at the correct time, it is not only coordination, but training for the entire body that makes it happen.

Unless you getting advance arthritus, don't worry about the size of your hands and feet, get that body where it belongs and the hands and feet will follow.

Anyway, ok, that's what I figured...Bruce, "When can use your hands without grabbing" do you mean jabbing (with fingers), hitting, pushing (with palm), or cupping (as in around a wrist)? And no, I'm not getting advance arthritus, heh, so I'm not worrying about that.
