New here
Hi all,
I'm new to the forum as of today & thought I'd say hi properly.
I'm a 31 year-old Aussie currently living in Melbourne and have been training in Yoshinkan Aikido for about 5.5 years.
I first trained with Mori Michiharu Sensei in Brisbane until a year ago, then moved to Melbourne for work & now train with Sensei Joe Thambu.
Aikido has helped me to some extent with my awareness & reflexes, but it's also tempered my perfectionist desires (I couldn't handle 5.5 years of mediocrity & mistakes otherwise...)
One of the things I like best is that regardless of how I'm feeling when I get on the mats, I always feel good when I get off. :-)
Anyway, should go.
I look forward to talking with you all as time goes on.
Cheers,
Stuart.
PS: thanks go out to Jun for his patience with me & Hotmail, & getting me onto the forum.
